Jimmy Bryson Obituary
He was born May 9, 1928 in Jackson County, NC,son of the late Arthur and Bulah Stewman Bryson.
Mr. Bryson was a loving husband, father and grandfather and great provider. He was retired from Fretwell Tire of Mount Holly.
He enjoyed watching racing, football, loved to walk and take care of his dog, "Fran."
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel in Gastonia, conducted by the Revs. David Clippard and Joe Heffner.
Interment will be held at Hillcrest Gardens in Mount Holly.
A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary Davis Bryson of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Suzette Bryson of Ranlo; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Clifton Baker of Kershaw, S.C.; brother, H.C. Bryson of Sylva; sisters, Violet Bowers of Sylva, Dottie Bryson of Newport News,Va.; grandchildren, Dean Poteat, Tina Poteat, Kenny Bryson and Cathy Pilgere; and nine great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are with Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia
