SOUTHAMPTON – Dylan Anthony Williams, 19, of Parc Place, Southampton died suddenly Sunday, April 19, 2015.

He was born March 19, 1996, in Northampton, the son of Michelle Lee Williams of Springfield, and Kevin Michael Taylor of Easthampton. Dylan was raised and educated in Southampton, and was a graduate of the class of 2014 from Hampshire Regional High School in Westhampton.

Dylan was working presently for Big Y Supermarket and Opa Opa Steak House and Brewery in Southampton, and recently started working as a shop worker for Valley Motor Sports in Northampton.

He loved participating and was a very active member with the Special Olympics of Massachusetts, playing floor hockey, bowling, soccer and volleyball. He also had a special love of the ocean and loved boating, along with being an avid New England Patriots and New York Yankee fan.

Dylan is survived by his parents and devoted and loving maternal grandmother Shirley A. (Schmidt) Williams and the late Robert L. Williams of Southampton; his cherished sister Joelle Riley Williams of Southampton; his loving paternal grandparents William and Patricia (Latka) Taylor of Plymouth; paternal great-grandmother Regina Latka; his two uncles and two aunts, Richard Schmidt and Patricia of Southampton, and Craig Stevens and Karyn Taylor Stevens of Canton; along with several cousins.

A graveside service for Dylan is scheduled for Saturday, April 25, at 1 p.m. at the Center Cemetery in Southampton. Calling hours will be held Friday, April 24, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 18 Adams St., Easthampton, whom has been honorably entrusted with providing for Dylan's care and services.

Memorials are requested in Dylan's memory to the Special Olympics Massachusetts, 512 Forest St., Marlborough, MA 01752.

Dylan and I were 3rd of July buddies. I am and always will be greatful to the entire Taylor family for opening your hearts and home to me for such a great tradition and Dylan was that bright smiling face that was always there to greet me and a big reason I cherish those memories. Dylan shared one of the most extraordinary life experiences I've ever had - the sailing of the USS Constitution. He was a sweet, giving boy with a great sense of humor. I had the pleasure of working with dylan at valley motorsports. over the few years he was here we grew a friendship that i will hold close to my heart forever. I would always look forward to seeing dylan every week and every week he would put a smile on my face no matter how bad the day seemed to go. He would go out of his way to help me if i ever needed it. I will always remember the fun conversation about the craziest things we would talk about. When i heard the news i almost fell to the floor i was so heartbroken. Though i didn't know him that well outside of work he was the best part of my week/day. I will always remember the fun times we had and the jokes we would play on eachother. dylan where ever you are reading this i miss you man and i will never forget you. I can't wait to see you again one day and catch up. I know ill have tons to tell you.

Dylan was a great person to be around, when he had a down day, he had family & friends who cared about him and would try their best to cheer him up. He was a great athlete for Special Olympics on the Hampshire Eagles which I also took part in, for the past couple of months we have been Bowling Buddies, and he got better and better.
