Memories and Condolences
for Robert Simard

Not sure what to say?

December 22, 2013

Sincerest condolences to you Dutchy, on the passing of your precious life partner, and to you David & Gail, on the passing of your dear father.

Some of my most fond childhood memories are of traveling to Massachusetts with my parents for summer visits with my mother's family. I ALWAYS looked forward to going to visit Bob and Dutchy at "The Camp", and I especially remember Bob's kindness and sense of humor, and of his teaching me to row a boat, and to catch my first fish.

We pray that The Lord would comfort you all during this difficult time.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Tonight I signed onto Facebook and read Mr. Simard's notice and Diana's loving memories. I, too, have wonderful memories of Mr. Simard, he welcomed me into your world and I appreciated tremendously the opportunity to share your summerhouse, although I never was quite as athletic as others! Mr. Simard was always willing to share his interests and it was always comfortable being with him. I know your memories and love with help you all during this time and I wish you all the comfort of knowing that he touched so many people's lives.
