Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home - Fort KentWallagrass--- Glenna E. Simard, 75, passed away peacefully at her home, leaving behind a lifetime of memories filled with grace, kindness, and love. Born on October 13, 1950, in Eagle Lake, Glenna carried her roots proudly throughout her life. She was quiet and kind, with a gentle presence that spoke volumes without needing many words. Those who knew her understood the warmth in her heart and the sincerity in her spirit.
Glenna had a natural elegance about her personality. She loved to dance, adored beautiful jewelry, and always took pride in being put together and presentable. Whether heading out for an evening or simply enjoying the day, she believed in showing up as her best self. She appreciated beauty and carried herself with grace in all that she did.
She found deep happiness in life’s simple joys — music that moved her to dance, meaningful conversations, and the comfort of home. Glenna also had a special love for her cherished pets, Molly and Bailey, who brought her daily companionship and unconditional love. They were truly part of her heart.
For 18 treasured years, Glenna shared a devoted and loving partnership with Kenneth C. Roy. Together they built a life grounded in loyalty, companionship, and quiet devotion. Their bond was steady and meaningful, and it was one of the greatest blessings of her life.
Glenna will be remembered for her gentle heart, her quiet strength, her sense of style, and the love she gave so freely. Her presence brought comfort to many, and her memory will forever shine softly in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Glenna is survived by her partner Kenneth C. Roy of 18 years; two brothers, Nelson Simard and his wife Beatrice of Charleston and Bruce Simard and his wife Michelle of Tennessee; a niece Cassandra (Simard) Davis and a nephew Rocky Simard. She also leaves behind two beloved pets Molly and Bailey who will miss her dearly.
She was predeceased by her father Fernand Simard and her mother Thelma Simard.
