Roger R. Raymond

Wallagrass--- Roger R. Raymond, 85, peacefully entered into Eternal Life December 10, 2025, at his home with his family at his side. He was born October 1, 1940, in Frenchville, a son of the late Andre and Marie Anne (Deschaine) Raymond.

Roger worked in Cape Cod in construction and carpentry for over a decade before his retirement in 2003. Previously he lived in Connecticut where he worked for Fafner Bearing Co. and Commercial Insulation for many years. Roger enjoyed many trips to the Connecticut River with his family and boating up and down the river. He relocated back to his beloved St. John Valley in 2003 and loved to relax to the beautiful sights of Wallagrass. He was an avid CB radio operator and earned his handle "The Pleaser," because Roger had a heart of gold and would do anything to please anyone. Roger also cherished many memories going to the family camp in Canada.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Beverly (McBreairty) Raymond of Wallagrass; two sons, Roger Raymond and his wife Nancy and Randy Raymond and his wife Annmarie, all of Massachusetts; five grandchildren, Mike, Chris, Robbie, Nicholas, and Kaylee; six great grandchildren, Payton, Landon, Mason, Gia, Joseph and Caden; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Roger was predeceased by his siblings, Camille Raymond, Normand Raymond, Marie Ange Roy, and Marie Hendreckson.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Friday, June 26, 2026, at St. Louis Church, Fort Kent. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
