Douglas Lee Becker

Douglas Lee Becker passed away unexpectedly on April 28, 2025 in Flagstaff, Arizona. He was born to Jim and Karen Becker in Albany, Oregon on November 9, 1962.

Douglas was a caring, considerate, kind, thoughtful, warm-hearted, generous and passionate person.

He graduated from South Albany High School where he was a proud member of the varsity basketball team. Go Rebels!

He especially enjoyed camping, exploring ghost towns and riding motorcycles.

He began his career in Central Oregon and later moved to Arizona to follow his passion for perfecting the art of barefoot water skiing.

He met his wife Britta in Arizona. They enjoyed visiting Sedona, It was an adventure that the family always looked forward to. They also traveled to Mexico, San Diego, Colorado, Oregon and Germany.

He was an exceptional cabinet maker and carpenter, recently building his Family's dream home. Douglas was loved deeply and leaves behind a void that can never be filled. His spirit will continue to guide and inspire us.

He leaves behind his Wife; Britta, children; Silas Becker and Minz Weibezahl, Mom; Karen Becker, Brother; Brian Becker (Sandy),.

Niece; Makenna (Becker) Borycki (Adam) along with many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

He was proceeded in death by his Dad; Jim Becker.

A celebration of life will be held in Albany, Oregon at Grand Prairie Park on Saturday July 19th from noon until 3 p.m.
