Marcie Deardorff Wolf

August 25, 2025

My father Don Deardorff worked with Rob at the Bureau. He considered Rob and John Kelley as good friends. They often had hiking trips during the summers. I found photos of the group a few years back and found Suzie and passed the photos to her. Rob and I met up at his property near Alsea - standing a good distance apart (due to covid) and reminisced. It felt so good to share space with someone who knew my Dad, and the feeling was reciprocated by Rob. He spoke so lovingly of his family, and of his daughter who I attended school with at Cheldelin.
My condolences to the family. I think Rob was a rare gem with many talents.
