JON NASH Obituary

JON NASH Jon Loy Nash, passed away suddenly on August 4, 2025 in West Chicago, Illinois. He was born on May 10, 1967 in Dodge City, Kansas. His early years were spent in Garden City, Kansas where he graduated from Garden City Senior High School. Jon served as a Fire Controlman Second Class FC2 in the US Navy aboard the USS Wasp. After leaving the Navy, he worked in IT and Computer Technology for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents Daniel A. Nash and M. Elizabeth Nash. Jon is survived by his sisters Beth Jayapalan, Dana Nash, Marsha Fields, and Terri Knight. He is also survived by his two nieces and three nephews. Jon's remains will be buried at sea by the US Navy from Norfolk, Virginia, the home port of the USS Wasp. Family and friends will hold a Celebration of Life in late October. Memorial donations may be made in Jon's name to your favorite charity.
