Arthur Joseph Scribner September 11, 1933 - May 25, 2008 Arthur Joseph Scribner, born September 11, 1933 in Brooklyn, NY, passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2008 in Denver, CO. Arthur proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1952 through 1956, during the Korean War. A true believer in constantly learning, Arthur was a graduate of SUNY Farmingdale and St. John's University in New York. He continued serving his fellow New Yorkers as a member of the NYC Police Department from 1960 through 1980. Those who knew Arthur knew that there was always a story to tell. With a kind and generous heart, he loved to be with people. Friends, Family and Honored Service were the cornerstones of his exceptional life. Arthur is survived by son Paul, grand-daughter Katrina, daughter-in-law Kim, sister Agnes Granges, Nieces Elaine Duerr and Patty Ann Myers, Nephew Steve Grange and many other loved family. With love in his heart he always had time, to share his feelings and listen to others. The memories we have of Arthur will survive forever as he continues his eternal journey.
