I met Max as a teenager in Gresham Oregon when he came in early on Saturday mornings for coffee in the Deli that I work in. The owners, Don and Sherry Peterson were great friends of Max and Betty's. I grew to love Max as much as I loved the Petersons. When Don died several years ago, it was such a comfort to have Max at the service. I cant help to smile that Max is with his lord and Savior and I am sure Don's soul was there to greet him. Rest in Peace Max... my thoughts and prayers to Betty and the rest of your family. Growing up, Max was church pastor in Coulee City, Washington. His laugh was infectious and it seemed like he had the biggest hands when I shook his hand each Sunday. I will remember him and Betty forever. Godspeed, Max!

We met Max and Betty when our parents Harold and Georgia Myers passed away. They were so kind and became very cherished people to our family. Max preformed the services for my parents. We thank God to have had the opportunity to meet two wonderful people.

Loved running in to Max and Betty on our visits to Cedaredge for music at the Appleshed. We'll miss seeing him, his big smile, firm handshake and hug.
