Brian Wilde Obituary

STRATFORD | Brian G. Wilde, 57, of Stratford, died Friday, Oct. 25, 2013, at Van Diest Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, at Stratford Lutheran Church, with Pastor Joe Lambert officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday at the church from 5 to 7 p.m.

Brian Gene Wilde, son of Allen and Mariedna Oetken Wilde, was born April 23, 1956, at Osage. He graduated from Osage High School and attended NIACC. On July 4, 2007, he married Phyllis Kraus in Las Vegas, Nev. Brian worked as a service manager at McKinleys in Osage before moving to Stratford. He was a mechanic at Richie Motors and Pat Clemons before opening Wilde Repair in 2003.

Brian is survived by his wife Phyllis of Stratford; his children, Brittaney Wilde of Webster City, Blair (Jody Liest) Wilde of Stratford, Teri (Dean Dobbs) Glenn of Nevada, Sheri (Herlindo) Kraus-Gomez of Ames, Keli Kraus-Smith of Stratford and Ken (Rhondele) Kraus of Garner, 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; parents, Allen and Mariedna Wilde of Osage; brother, Barry Wilde of Edina, Minn.; dog, Laser and shop cat, Spaz.
