Randy Fingalsen

August 10, 1954 - March 29, 2025

Randall L. "Randy" Fingalsen, 70, of Downingtown, Pa. passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at his residence. He was the loving husband of Linda (Pauli) Lyver Fingalsen, sharing 30 years of marriage.

Born in Nora Springs, Iowa, on August 10, 1954, he is the son of Gary Fingalsen and Jacqueline Swanson Fingalsen. Randy was a proud Veteran of the United States Air Force, serving during the Vietnam War. For most of his life, Randy worked in the Transportation Industry. He drove for various companies, and one of his favorite places to work for was the NFL Network. He also loved taking road trips across the country, especially when his beloved beagle Sam was riding with him. Randy was a great leader in boy scouts, always encouraging others to continue to reach the next level. He was a huge sports fan, and he enjoyed umpiring for the local LYA little league, High School PIAA sports and legion games.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, Jim (Livia) Lyver, Downingtown, Megan (Joseph) Henry, Lancaster, and Sean Lyver, Downingtown; grandchildren, Nicholas Turpin, Jacob Turpin, James Lyver, Ethan Lyver and Calder Henry; brother, Todd (Susan) Fingalsen; and sister, Melissa (Mark) Johnson; step-mother, Lois Fingalsen-Juenger; along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Craig Fingalsen.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025 at 11 a.m. at James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown, PA 19335. Visitation will be from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Northwood Cemetery, Downingtown.
