I was a friend of Aaron's for the short time we lived in the same apartment complex together in Midland, Texas. But even in that short time, I knew Aaron was a special person. It saddens me today to hear of this news, as the world has lost a good man.
My prayers are with you.

I played with Aaron for two years in the Angels system, and I lived with him for five months when we were both rehabbing injuries. He was a wonderful teammate, roommate and friend, and one of the few genuinely nice people I've met in my life. Aaron will be missed dearly by me and many, many others. God bless.

To the Peel family and to all of Aaron's friends,
I am deeply sorry for your loss. Aaron was a remarkable young man who had so much love to give, and he loved you all very much. God wanted him home for reasons that we will understand someday. Until then, please know that I will always keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
Two of Aaron's favorite Bible verses:
Hebrews 13:5 - "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."
Isaiah 53:5 - "But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed."
Aaron is now healed and has peace. And for those left behind, he would want all to remember that God is always with us. Thank you for sharing Aaron with me - he has forever touched my life.

Coach Peel and family,
We were very saddened to hear of Aaron's passing, though we know he graduated to God's baseball team. We knew Aaron through Shawn, our son, who coach Aaron in Seminole. Shawn was so proud of Aaron and his accomplishments and loved coaching Aaron. We probably knew Aaron well through Shawn.
