I was a friend of Aaron's for the short time we lived in the same apartment complex together in Midland, Texas. But even in that short time, I knew Aaron was a special person. It saddens me today to hear of this news, as the world has lost a good man.

Aaron, I think about you every day. Work will never be the same and it doesn't get any easier. I'm so thankful to have an angel watching over me and to have gotten to have such an amazing friend. Miss you.
To Aaron's family, ya'll did an amazing job. Aaron was one of the best people I have known. We'll never forget his gorgeous smile and the fact that it could make anybody smile. I have been and will continue to pray for yall.

I played with Aaron for two years in the Angels system, and I lived with him for five months when we were both rehabbing injuries. He was a wonderful teammate, roommate and friend, and one of the few genuinely nice people I've met in my life. Aaron will be missed dearly by me and many, many others. God bless.

I am deeply sorry for your loss. Aaron was a remarkable young man who had so much love to give, and he loved you all very much. God wanted him home for reasons that we will understand someday. Until then, please know that I will always keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
Two of Aaron's favorite Bible verses:
Hebrews 13:5 - "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."
Isaiah 53:5 - "But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed."
Aaron is now healed and has peace. And for those left behind, he would want all to remember that God is always with us. Thank you for sharing Aaron with me - he has forever touched my life.

Our hearts are broken...Aaron-such a sweet, loving, beautiful soul. We came to know him through baseball. Our son, Greg played with him. He and his wife, Morgan, lived with him and have many shared moments. Gregory loved him dearly. We will hold him close to our hearts always. And will pray for healing of those left behind. He touched many in a very special way.

Although I didnt know Aaron personally I knew of him from my sister Julia and how much baseball was a part of his life. I always heard of all his accomplishments and we followed up on him when he was drafted as well and I know he will always be an inspiration for all that knew him. I only knew Aaron for a short time, but it was obvious to me that he was a great young man, with a big heart, high character and extremely charismatic. Aaron always had a smile on his face and a warm greeting for you. It just wasn't the same if Aaron was not there when we visited The Float 404. I worked for the Cedar Rapids Kernels during Aaron's All-Star season in 2005. He was fun to watch and great to talk with while he was here.
