We join the community Benji was so integral to, in expressing our deepest sympathy to each of you whom Benji loved so dearly. The 'community' of which we refer is widespread. It isn't just his beloved Carlsbad, but rather it includes a big chunk of the Concho Valley. We called Benji our friend, and we knew him as an astute businessman, avid community supporter, tireless in his pursuit of goals set and a proud husband and father. He will be sorely missed by many. Benji deserves a well-earned rest from his labors. We pray the many good memories he's made with you will help ease your loss. Most Sincerely,

Weise family: I just visited with Benji Thurs. at the DIGTESS seminar. I know him from Little League affiliation...and the many times he helped the LL District with various last minute projects. All the good times, every kid playing thru LL in North Concho and this district will continue on as part of Benji's legacy...his never-ending-story. Like the energizer bunny...the good he has done will keep going and going and going. Well done, Benji!
