Nighthawk RedStar Obituary
Browning —Nighthawk RedStar, 62, passed away at his residence in Browning Dec. 3, 2016. Nighthawk formerly known as Terry Whitford was born to Harvey Whitford and Eva Running Crane Whitford January 5, 1954 in Browning. He would spend his younger years in Browning attending the public school there until college then he decided to see what else the United States had to offer for education. Nighthawk would eventually return to his hometown of Browning and start a career in the Corrections Department. Nighthawk married Sandra Ann Johnson. He loved working with woodwork, beadwork, doing crossword puzzles, and spending time with the love of his life, his grandsons Kane & Ty Gilham.
Nighthawk is preceded in death by his wife Sandra, mother & father and brothers David Whitford and Walden Whitford, and baby daughter Winter Snow RedStar.
He is survived by his daughter Cheyenne (Bill, Kane, Ty) Gilham, son Mack Whitford, sister Winona Whitford, Brothers Harvey (Carolin) Whitford, Tommy (Eillene) Whitford, Monte Whitford, Robin (Billie) Whitford, Ettore (Betty) Whitford.
A rosary is being held Friday Dec. 9 at 7 pm at Glacier Home Center with a mass on Saturday Dec 10 at 11 am at Little Flower Parish. Burial will follow at Willow Creek Cemetery in Browning.
