Phyllis Ashworth Obituary

SPRING VALLEY — Phyllis Claire Wells Ashworth, 85, of Spring Valley, passed away Monday, August 12, 2024, at Ohio's Hospice of Dayton. She was born March 10, 1939, in Los Angeles, California, the daughter of Carl and Lois Campbell Burmester. She was a graduate of Stanford University, and held a Masters Degree from Wright State University. She retired from NCR after 30 years employment. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Ashworth, whom she married, October 14, 1988, four step-children, Sarah (Paul) Seim, Erika (Tony) Reyes, Matthew Ashworth, and Tristan Ashworth, eight grandchildren, two brothers, Neil Burmester and Russell Burmester, by several nieces and nephews, and by many close friends. Phyllis will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Private services will be held by the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Ohio's Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH, 45420, in her memory. Condolences may be made to the family at www. NeeldFuneralHome.com.
