XENIA — Roger L. Moore, age 58, of Xenia, passed away Friday, September 7, 2018 at his home following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born April 13, 1960 in Xenia, Ohio, the son of Ernest Ray and Beatrice (Emmons) Moore. In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by his sister: Regina Hagedorn. Roger is survived by his wife: Karen (Thomas), whom he married May 13, 1989; daughters: Chelsea Moore, Jessica (Jonathan) Kincade; son: Cameron Moore; grandchildren: Lacie Murnahan and Brooklynn Fugate; sister: Brenda Miller; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Roger graduated from Xenia High School in 1978. He was a driver with UPS for over 24 years. He was a very good employee and well liked by his customers. He and his wife enjoyed traveling. He was a member of the Fairhaven Church. Most importantly, Roger was a loving husband and father. He loved his family very much. A service will be held for family and friends Monday, September 10, 2018 at 7:30 PM at the Fairhaven Church, 637 E. Whipp Road, Centerville, OH. Visitation will be held 6-7:30 at the church. Interment will be held 11 AM Tuesday at Woodland Cemetery, Xenia. A procession to the cemetery will leave Tuesday at 10:45 AM from McColaugh Funeral Home, Inc., 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia. My thoughts and Prayers are with Mr Moor's family at this most difficult time. I miss him coming in and seeing his smiling face. It was such a joy to know him and Mrs Moore.
