Cecil Ball, 83, originally from Greene County, passed away Wednesday at the Holston Valley Medical Center.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Jeffers Funeral & Cremation Service, Afton chapel and from 12:30-1 p.m. Saturday at Buffalo Ridge Baptist Church.
The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Saturday at the church with Pastor John Herdman officiating.
The burial will follow in Washington County Memory Gardens.

Our family lived across the street from the Balls and I went to school with Richie and Becky. I have fond memories of Cecil and the family.
