Liberty On Thursday morning, July 31, 2014 Barbara Craig-Shoe, 69, peacefully passed after a long battle with cancer. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 03 at Gilmore Memorial Park with Chaplin Pete Overcash officiating. Barbara was a woman of remarkable strength and spent her final days surrounded by the ones she loved the most. She was a Guilford County native born on December 08, 1944 to the late Wade Enoch and Gertrude Harris Harvell. Barbara raised six beautiful and sweet granddaughters that she would have moved mountains for. This Child of God, leaves behind a loving husband, Jerry Lee Shoe, daughter, Tammie Delgado, step-son, Jerry W. Shoe, granddaughters, Heather Ward, Amber Riaz, Gina Riaz, Adriana Delgado, Hannah Martinez, Heidi Cortez, great-grandson, Logan Tharpe, sisters, Mary Hellier, Patti Knight, brothers, Donald Harvell, and Vernon Harvell for the Lord to watch over.The family will receive friends on Saturday August 02, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Forbis and Dick Pleasant Garden Chapel.
