David Paul Clingerman of Greenwich, CT died on Thursday, March 5, 2015. Born March 4, 1973, in Carmel, NY, to Jane and Roger Clingerman, he attended Mahopac High School where he graduated with honors a year early in 1990. For the next 10 years David continued his studies in theocratic education at Watchtower, Bible & Tract Society. David also had a lucrative career as a sales executive for 14 years in the paper packaging industry. He then went on to become a pilot, a rescue diver, avid golfer, and guitarist. Beloved husband to Danielle (Callas) Clingerman and devoted father to Reznor Layne Clingerman. Also survived by his mother and father, sister, Lori (Clingerman) Barnes, brother, Brian Clingerman; nieces and nephews.David's love for rock music inspired every facet of his personal life. It was through music that he met his wife, planned their wedding, and named his daughter. In his 42 years, he lived a rich and full life, and left a lasting impression on everyone he met. The family will receive friends and relatives on Saturday, March 14th, from 2-6 PM at Castiglione Funeral Home (www.castiglionefh.com), 134 Hamilton Avenue, Greenwich, CT. A reception to celebrate his life will be held immediately following the memorial service at The Ginger Man, 64 Greenwich Avenue, Greenwich.In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you contribute towards Reznor Layne's education. Your donations will allow for Reznor to remember her father and how deeply he cared for his precious little girl. You'll be helping to pave a future for her to have all the things in life that her father wished for her.
