Pace, Michael
Michael Pace, 65 years of age, passed peacefully at Tidewell Hospice House in Port Charlotte, Florida on December 22, 2016. "Mike" was predeceased by his parents Angelo and Josephine Catanzaro Pace. Mike is survived by his wife of 39 years, Marion; mother Mary; brothers Philip (Carol) and Andy (Bobbi) and many nieces and nephews.
Mike retired from the Port Chester school system and resided in Port Chester until he and his wife relocated to Englewood, Florida in 2014 where he quickly adapted to a more relaxed lifestyle of fishing and bike riding. Mike enjoyed stargazing and collecting train and toy memorabilia. Mike was always quick to make friends and soon had a full circle of buddies.
Viewing will be on January 6, 2017 at Gunipero-Farenga Funeral Home, 353 Westchester Ave., Port Chester, NY from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Church of Our Lady of Mercy in Port Chester on January 7, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Rye Brook, NY
