Funeral Announcement
(March 16, 1927 - August 20, 2010) Familian 'Titang' - 'Josen Lela' of Mangilao and formerly of Hagatna, was called home by his heavenly Father at the age of 83. Rosary is being prayed each evening at 6:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Peace and Safe Journey Catholic Church in Chalan Pago. Last Respects for Jose will be held on Saturday, August 28th at Our Lady of Peace and Safe Journey Catholic Church in Chalan Pago, beginning at 9 a.m. and concluding at 12:15 p.m. Mass for a Christian burial will be offered at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Guam Veterans Cemetery in Piti, where we will bid him farewell and a peaceful rest.

Auntie Lana & Ruby,
The 35 years that it has been since we last saw each other has not diminished the memories of our visits to your home and the jovial nature Uncle Joe had always displayed. I had always treasured those times and have brought them to memory on numerous occasions. Though I've not been around, I've not forgotten. I wish for you only sweet memories to carry you through a difficult time. I pray for peace in your hearts.

Auntie Låna'.
Uncle Joe's passing brings back so many wonderful memories. As a boy, I can always picture him, Uncle Pito and my dad at the ranch joking about Governor Bill Daniel or about the U.S.S. Guam. Those were great times and will remain with me forever. Please accept our prayers and sincerest warm thoughts.

It's hard to believe that Uncle Joe is not with us anymore. We will always remember the last time we saw him in LA. We enjoyed the times we would go visit you both in LA and then take you to San Diego. He enjoyed himself and we really enjoyed your company. Dad wishes he was there but he needs to take care of things here. Our sincerest condolences, our prayers are with you throughout this difficult time.
