News Death Notice

MCCUNE, Lee J. age 69 of Hamilton died Thursday, January 10, 2013, at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on November 11, 1943, the son of Lee. D. and Juanita A. (Dirck) McCune. Lee was a 1961 graduate of Hamilton Catholic High School and he received an Associates degree from Miami University. Lee was a veteran of the United States Army. Mr. McCune worked as an electrician for Fisher body Hamilton Plant, and later was the electrical department manager for Miami University of Oxford retiring in 2006. He was a member of St. Ann Church. Survivors include three children, Lee. J. McCune Jr. of Springfield, Ohio, Kelli McCune of St. Petersburg, FL, and Nicholas McCune of Fairfield, Ohio; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four brothers, Dennis, Mark, Shawn (Dorothy), and Dain (Lisa) McCune; a sister Sharon Luibel; the mother of Lee and Kelli, Judith McCune. He was preceded in death by his father in 2002, mother in 2006. Prayers will be offered at 10:00 am Tuesday in the Zettler Funeral Home, 2646 Pleasant Ave. Hamilton, Ohio 45015 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am Tuesday in St. Ann Church with Fr. Larry Tharp celebrant. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 pm Monday in the funeral home. Online register book available at www.zettlerfuneralhome.com
