A hole in my heart has not grown smaller. How do years pass so quickly. There’s absolutely no closure to this event for a father.
There is no such thing as closure maybe acceptance but it really happened sad as it is my hope Is that in the hereafter Marco is peaceful. I still love him very much.

It still has left a large hole in my heart and in our family. Days have passed and it is approaching the 3 year period since My Marko left us to that vicious disease called leukemia.
As a father and Licensed Counselor I know there is no word as "closure". Who ever invented this word, which is somehow able to ease you pain, made a foolish determination.
My word would be an approach toward "acceptance" of the reality of death. His life will never close love his Father J.C. Imfeld.

I was saddened recently to hear of Mark's passing. I was a classmate of Moose many years ago and lost track of the Imfelds. I think often of the close family who I shared many morning adventure from Butler County to Northbend Road as a young man. Rest in peace my friend and God bless you all.

It has been six months since I lost my Marko. He was such a part of me that it is very hard to accept even at this time and probably for as long as I breath. There is not a day that passes that I do not think of him. I loved his so much.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Mark. I have not seen the Imfelds for many years, but Jim and Matt were very important in my life as we worked for Juvenile court. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

We have been keeping your family in prayer since the onset of Mark's illness. Mitzi had kept us informed of Mark's progress during this incredible journey. We are sorry for your family's loss. We pray God continues to surround you with loving family and friends that help you as you deal with your loss. Your family has been a witness of incredible faith. . I was hosted to a great evening in Miami by Mark and beautiful Carmen, when I concluded an AT&T Telecom Mgrs seminar at the Breakers. I was thrilled to learn of Mark's love and zeal for our Lord, and that he shared with me several instances of the Holy Spirit assisting him find then 'repo' several yachts which the USTreasury Dept seized for back taxes.
Mark loved his family, The Lord and his work enthusiastically, and joyfully! I am so very proud and thankful for having him as a nephew. I'm sure there is a heck of a joyful party going on with his many, many wonderful family members up there in the sweet 'By and By'! Uncle Merrell (and Aunt Vicky)

I'll be praying for Moose's family. I didn't know Moose, but I am a friend of the Imfelds and found the MooseStrong movement they created to be so inspiring. He clearly had such a positive impact on all of the people whose lives he touched.

To the many friends and relatives of the Imfeld family. Mark knew he was going to his reward in heaven. He faced this as he did life, boldly. He told me "Dad the infusions are not working anymore and I am very weak, I tried hard to fight". He died as he lived a strong, religious person and family guy. I loved him very much.

I am saddened to hear of Mark's passing. I remember Mark from Junior Achievement and Miami University. He always had a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eyes. May God and your wonderful memories comfort you now and also in the future.
In thoughts and prayers,
Becky Martindill
