News Death Notice

LILLICOTCH, Mary Lou Giddings 83, of Beaverdam died Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012 at her home. Born in Massillon, Ohio on December 8, 1929, to Velma L. and Stiles R. Giddings, she was the youngest of four children. In 1947, she graduated from Warren G. Harding Senior High School in Warren, Ohio. In 1949, she married Floyd Edward Lillicotch and they resided in the Warren and Cortland, Ohio area for several years before moving to Manassas, VA in 1965. Mary Lou received her L.P.N. license in Virginia and Maryland. In 1989 she retired from nursing, and then she and Floyd re-located to Florida. After Floyd's death in 1993, she lived in Florida for several years, and then returned to Virginia to spend more time with her sons in Virginia. She is survived by her five sons; Robin (Debby) of Warrenton, VA, Randall (Kim) of Bloomfield, Indiana, Russ of Boynton Beach, Florida, and Ryan (Argentina) of Falls Church, VA and Rene' (Peggy) of Manassas, VA.; four grandsons, two great grandsons and a great granddaughter; many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, and two sisters. Inurnment will be held at later date at Stonewall Memorial Gardens. The family requests memorial contributions be made to a church or a charity of your choice. Sign register book online www.storkefuneralhome.com.
