Adam Reid

Adam Reid died peacefully surrounded by people who loved him like crazy on May 1, 2015. His 35 years on this earth were filled with mischief, music, laughter and tons of stories (long ones). He battled like a champion with health problems for most of his life, lost so many loved ones along the way, and we know there was a menagerie of family, friends and pets greeting him upon his arrival to his next great adventure. He excelled as a trauma and music therapist and was adored by countless clients who enriched his life more than they can ever know. He was most content when hunting with his precious dog, fishing, or banging on his drums (including at the dinner table.) He will be remembered with overwhelming love and joy, and may we all grab onto life's great ride as he did and make the most of every moment. Adam is survived by his adoring wife, Whitney, his parents, Susan Reid and Jim Mercik and Paul and Julie Reid, his brother Ethan and his wife Kim and his brothers Wyatt, Griffin and Connor in addition to a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. A Memorial Service celebrating Adam's life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at the First Church of Christ Congregational, 2183 Main Street, Glastonbury.
