I worked at newington store in the ski shop when first open..helped customers and Al was always happy when I checked out new items dealing with skiing. Also he loved Glastonbury and when he found out my cousin had a house just down the street on
Mott Hill rd he knew I understood how much I cared about the area too. So sorry for your loss

Al and I knew fun was abundant with the Rizzo family. As cousins we enjoyed Sundays with our grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. Fun became 4th of July at cousin Al's home....an Italian feast with food made by every Aunt and just one man - Al. Yes, Al knew how to bring our large clan together. . No body could match Al's love of life, his family and friends. It saddens me greatly that I will not longer get weekly emails from your dad or see him on his West Coast when visits to see Skip and Janiece Fond memories of your dad will live on forever for me and I'm sure for many others.
With prayers and sympathy
Cousin Beverly and grown children Michlle and David

I learned so much from Al, but the most important thing that I learned was respect and gratitude for the man he was. When I needed him the most, he stood tall.

Gina and family, so sorry to hear of Al’s passing.
Your dad was an amazing man. I’m so happy that we were able to spend the day with you both here in Florida a few years back.
My mom and dad would always talk about there trip to Florida with Nella and Silvio.
Well there all together now and probably having a great time.
May he Rest In Peace in paradise.. Love to you all . Ken and Millie Galanto

Al was my very special cousin. I have many wonderful memories of our growing up years together. Each Winter, when Al came to the West Coast of FL for three months, our Cousin Lois and I would get together with him and when Lois and I went to CT to visit her son and his family we would get together with Al. My heart grieves over his passing and I shall miss his loving smile and hugs.
