FRANKEL, Allan R. Dr. Dr. Allan R. Frankel, 78, of Milan Rd., Woodbridge, devoted husband of Claire (Levy) Frankel died at the Yale-New Haven Hosp. on Wednesday (November 21, 2007). Born in New Haven, Sept. 17, 1929, he was a son of the late Dr. Bernard and Esther Frankel. Beloved father of Jay Frankel (Dr. Felicia Wilion) of West Hartford and Rick Frankel (Lindsey Biel) of New York City, NY. Dear brother of Sylvia Freeman of Riverdale, NY and the late Benjamin Frankel. Cherished grandfather of Hannah and Emma. In addition to his loving family and many, many friends, Dr. Frankel dearly loved his thousands of patients whom he served for nearly 50 years as a dentist in the City of New Haven. He was also the Chief of the Section of Restorative Dentistry at Yale-New Haven Hosp. for many years. Funeral services at the Cong. B'nai Jacob, 75 Rimmon Rd., Woodbridge, CT Friday afternoon at 1 p.m. with interment services to follow in the B'nai Jacob Memorial Park, Wintergreen Ave., New Haven.
