Angela LeBlanc Obituary
Angela Marguerite (Cormier) LeBlanc, 89, of New Britain, CT, passed away on Wednesday, August 13. She was born in Memramcook, New Brunswick, Canada, daughter of the late Jeanne and Adia Cormier, and moved to the US with her husband and young daughter in 1955. She was employed for many years by JC Penney. Angela was a talented quilter and knitter, who enjoyed making gifts of her beautiful craftwork. She also enjoyed puzzles of all kinds and hand writing letters to her sisters in Canada. Angela is survived by her son Terry LeBlanc of New Britain, CT; sister Victorine Melanson of Dieppe, NB, Canada; sister Lorraine C. Gaudet of Wethersfield, CT; sister Lucille Mercier of Dieppe, NB, Canada; brother Ronald Cormier of Pré-d'en-Haut, NB, Canada, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Francis LeBlanc, daughter Linda LeBlanc Dahl, sister Bernadette Melanson of Memramcook, NB, and brother Gerard Cormier of New Britain, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 20 at 10 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 1755 Stanley St., New Britain, CT, followed immediately by a burial service at St. Mary Cemetery, 1309 Stanley St, New Britain, CT. Terry, you have my deepest Sympathies. It has been such a long time since we've seen each other. Although long ago I remember your visits from New Britain to Boston and our weekends we play together. Your mom and dad were the best and always were ready to lend a helping hand.
You are in my thoughts and prayers dear cousin. Loosing our family members is very difficult and will never be easy. Know that they are now looking over you and hopefully helping you get through your sorrow.

Terry, I know that you will miss her, but know that she is in God's hands now and her soul is at peace. I will remember her quick smile and sitting around the kitchen visiting.

Terry, we send our sympathy. Your Mom was in our lives for so many years. She was so generous with knitted hats and mittens, always going to those in need. She loved her tomatoes and making homemade pickles and relishes. I will always cherish the quilt that she made us for a wedding gift.

Terry,our sincere sympathy, I never met your mother but when I read the newspaper, I notice that she is my cousine. Adia and Adrien, my father, were brothers. Adia was the oldest and my father was the youngest.

Terry, your mom was always so nice to us. She was kind and very giving, whether it was tomatoes from her garden or the beautiful sets of hats and mittens she knitted. I will cherish the throw she knitted as well. She always welcomed me into her home for a chat and will be missed. God bless. RIP Angela

We are saddened to hear of your mother's passing. We highly value having knowned Tante Angela as she inspired us and will continue to do so because of her many qualities, especially her kindness, courage and hospitality whenever we visited.
