O'SHAUGHNESSY, Bernard T. ,Jr. Bernard T. O'Shaughnessy, Jr., 86, of West Suffield, husband of Vera O'Shaughnessy for 64 years celebrating their anniversary June 29, 2004, died Tuesday (July 7, 2004) at Mercy Hosp., Springfield. He was born in Rome, NY, the son of the late Bernard and Anne (Finch) O'Shaughnessy and lived in Hartford from 1941 to 1955 and in West Suffield from 1955 to 2004. He was employed for 43 years at the Stanadyne Co. of Windsor, formerly Hartford Machine Screw Co. of Hartford. He was a member of the Old Sturbridge Village, and the New England Air Museum. Besides his wife, Vera, he is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Francis J. and Jane O'Shaughnessy of Latham, NY; a brother-in-law, Darrell Haas of Glen Head, NY; his nieces and nephews, Kathleen O'Shaughnessy of Latham NY, Dennis O'Shaughnessy and his wife, Gail of Glenmont, NY, Susan (O'Shaughnessy) Walsh and her husband, Daniel of Agawam, MA, M. Brigit O'Shaughnessy of Delmar, NY; his great nieces and nephews, Dennis O'Shaughnessy, Jr. and his wife, Nicole of Delmar NY, Kelly M. O'Shaughnessy of Glenmont, NY, Frances M. Walsh and Bridget R. Walsh of Agawam MA; a great-great nephew, Michael A. O'Shaughnessy of Delmar, NY. He was predeceased by a nephew, Michael J. O'Shaughnessy. The funeral services will be Saturday, July 10, at 10 a.m. at the Heritage Funeral Home, 1240 Mountain Rd., West Suffield. Burial will be in West Suffield Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from 9-10 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Suffield Vol. Ambulance fund, P0 Box 642, Suffield 06078 or the Suffield VNA, 450 South St. ,Suffield, 06078
