Brian Albert Obituary

Brian G Albert, 28, of Boynton Beach, FL passed away Friday, October 28. Brian was born April 23, 1988 in Rockville, CT. He was raised in Enfield and graduated from Enfield High School in 2006. He attended Pennsylvania College of Technology and graduated from Springfield Technical College in May 2009. Brian leaves to mourn his passing, his Mom and Dad, MaryTracy and Garry Albert of Manchester, his sister Danielle Albert and her fiancé Nick Perry of Columbus, OH, and his fur baby, Darko. Brian is also survived by his grandparents, Ethel Albert and Harry Mott, his Aunts & Uncles Rolanda & David Wackter, Jondahl Mott, Holly & Stephen Dudley, Darcy Mott, Kelly & Paul Sacks, Malin Daddario, Harry & Andrea Mott, Grace & Rick Mason, Charlie Schiavetti, Jeff & Brenda Schiavetti; His cousins, Luke, Beau, Owen, Lizzy, Ally, Cooper, Isabelle, Joseph, Nicholas, Olivia, Ava, Mikayla, Liam, Jayme, Amanda, Marissa and Michael. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Anne (Kehoe) & Roland Albert and Holly (Taylor) Mott, and his Uncle Joe Daddario. Brian lived the past 7 years in South Florida where he worked at the Purple Lotus. He leaves behind an enormous group of friends whom he loved dearly especially his girlfriend Raquel King. You could have the most fun and silly times with Brian, and at the same time he was the person you could call in your darkest hour. His emotions ran deep. The sensitivity that he had for others sometimes made it difficult for him to deal with the extraordinary amount of sadness that can creep into our lives. Brian fought the tough battle of addiction and like too many before him became a casualty of this disease. But Brian's life was so much more than this. Brian was an Eagle Scout, Troop 108, Hazardville, CT; He loved racquetball, playing tenor sax, fishing, camping, the beach, practicing Jiu Jitsu and above all music made his world go round, attending as many concerts and festivals as he could. Brian was always sharing a song, telling you to check out a band or concert, or sending you song lyrics to brighten your day. He was incredibly funny. His luminous smile and bigger than life personality would fill an entire room. Being around him, you always felt like you were loved and you had a best friend. Even if you only spent a short time with him, you felt like you knew him your whole life. Now let's celebrate his.... Friends will be received Thursday, Nov. 3, from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at the Holmes Funeral Home, 400 Main St, Manchester. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, Nov. 4, at 10:00 am at St. Bridget Church, 80 Main Street, Manchester (Please go directly to church). Burial will be private. Memorial Donations can be made to CMHA's Substance Abuse Action Council, 270 John Downey Dr., New Britain, CT 06051 or the Manchester Land Conservation Trust, 20 Hartford Rd., Manchester, CT 06040. My condolences to the family and friends. Jesus is working in our behalf to arrange a wonderful family reunion. He gives us a glimpse of this at Luke 7:11-15; he gave a mother her son back.
