Calvin Kaiser Obituary

Calvin L. Kaiser Jr., 67, of Newington, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, October 10, 2021 after a short battle with brain cancer. Born in Camden, NJ on December 5, 1953, he graduated from Farmington High School in 1972 and lived his adult life in Newington. Calvin graduated from Gettysburg College and later received his MBA from the University of Hartford. Calvin spent his career as a sales manager in the manufacturing industry until retirement in 2015. Upon retirement, he worked as a seasonal tax preparer for H&R Block. He was a member of Church of Christ Congregational in Newington. Cal loved the game of golf and enjoyed the last few years playing with friends. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Cynthia, son Alexander of Quincy, MA, sister Patricia Niemitz and her husband Jeffrey of Carlisle, PA, sister Barbara Martens of Greenville, NY, sister-in-law Lauren Ravalese of Canton, CT and many nieces and nephews. A graveside service to celebrate Calvin's life will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 10:00 a.m., at the West Avon Cemetery, 280 Country Club Road, Avon, CT.

I grew up2 house away from the Kaiser´s and knew the family well. Cal used to do the go carts snd the rocket ships with all the guys. I ran into him a few years ago in Newington not knowing we were practically neighbors again. My love and prayers are with all the family. His smile will be missed!!
