I am so sorry to hear of Cora's passing. I met her in the St. James knitting group and loved that she was such a beautiful and genuinely nice, warm person. Condolences to her entire family and all her friends. I will miss her.

Over the past 15 years or so, my wife Nancy and I spent part of each winter at Fort Myers Beach and visited frequently with Cora and Rocco.
We had lots in common and quickly became friends. We stayed in touch until Cora´s passing last December.
On October 28th, the same disease that took Cora also took my Nancy.
My hope and prayers are that Cora and Nancy are joined together with Rocco watching over us.

To Cora's Family,
I wanted to let you know that your mom /grandma was an amazing woman. She always had a kind thing to say and was always good for a hug when needed. I remember when my mom passed she would see me at church each week to check in to see how I was doing and had the right words and prayers to get me through. In the past few months I was thinking about her because I lost my dad this year and since we are not physically at church I was not able to see her but thought of her an and what would Cora say. She and your dad both had huge hearts that they shared with the parish. I know whenever we had a youth group event they were always there rooting on the kids and wishing the best as we went on retreats. I know your dad was waiting with his arms opened wide in heaven for your mom. My thoughts and prayers are with you

My husband, Chuck, and I express our deepest condolences to the loved ones of Cora. We were blessed to have experienced a wonderful friendship with her as part of our “McDonald’s Crew”. We shared many enjoyable conversations and laughs as a group. She had a unique sense of humor and a very quick wit. We will miss her loving, outgoing personality and very kind nature. Marianne, Michael and Mark,
So many memories with Cora-Lou. I met her when I married Paul and he told me that he had dated her!!! I always liked her and Rocco because they were so fun to be around. I remember going to the house when Cora-Lou and her mom were making cookies!! I have so many memories with them. We had a Cousins Club which didn't last long but was fun while it lasted!!! I remember them coming to Sound View with you kids. She was a fun lady!!!!! I know that you will miss her.

Dear Lauria family,
My heart broke when I saw Cora's obituary. I first met Cora and Rocco at the Easter Vigil, 2006 at St James. I was in RCIA and she offered to be my sponsor if I needed one. We became friends thru Sew Good Works, and EM ministry. Thru this past year and a half, at least early on, she would call me and see how I was doing as I dealt with my own medical issues. I always got Christmas cards from them. The silver blessing in her passing is that she is back with Rocco, and her suffering is over.
I will miss you, Dear Cora. Thank you so much for your kindness. Your gentleness. Your compassion.

Our deepest condolences to the Family.
The Laraia's were not only our neighbors, but were friends too.
I remember when we were kids and there was only a few houses on our street.
Hanging out with Mike at his house, time at the beach....
All great times.
Mrs. Laraia always made me feel welcome.
She was a great women.
I'm glad she is back with Mr. Laraia now. They were always together and now they are both at pease.
To Mike, Maryann & Mark, I feel your pain.

Cora was Special and Cora and Rocco were extra special!
We met in Florida and with so much in common..we enjoyed many fun times. We enjoyed each other’s company .. socializing, golfing or just soaking up the Florida sun.
We will miss this beautiful person just as we have missed her best friend Rocco.
