Don drove a gasoline tanker for many years here at Lincoln Oil. "Milkman" was known throughout CT by most of the petroleum drivers. He preferred working nights, leaving all the hustle and bustle for day drivers.

He was so genial, and had an infectious laugh, how could anyone not like him?

We were friends for all those years, even after his retirement. He told me at Eunice's wake that he didn't know how he could go on, but he did.

Don was one of those old school truck drivers, who, in spite of his size, would find a loose bolt under his truck. He took his time and did things right. His kind are now passing into history.

Don, I'll miss you and all the laughs we had together.
Hold the pizza until I join you.
Peace brother.
