SHEEHAN, Donna
Donna Sheehan, age 67, of West Haven passed away on March 3, 2012. Wife of the late Arthur P. Sheehan. Born in Kittanning, Pennsylvania daughter of the late Frank and Rose Peterson. She is survived by her daughters, Cristin Sheehan of West Hartford and Erin Sheehan of Milford; her sister, Linda Massari of PA; her nephews, John and Anthony (Amy) Massari; her great niece and several great nephews. Donna was currently working for Nancy Larson Publishing as an Education Consultant. She was a first grade teacher for Molloy School until her retirement in 2005, which is the same year she was named "Teacher of the Year". An active parishioner of Our Lady of Victory Church. She was involved with many organizations, including the parish social ministry committee and the bereavement group.
The hours for visitation will be TUESDAY from 4-8 p.m. at the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green. Her funeral procession will leave the funeral home Wednesday morning at 10:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Victory Church at 11 a.m. Entombment will follow in St. Lawrence Garden Mausoleum. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at the Smilow Cancer Hospital for all of their compassion and care thought out her treatment. The family would also like to acknowledge the outstanding nursing staff at Smilow's 1st floor Infusion Room and the 12th floor; and Connecticut Hospice.
