To Doreen's Family and many loved Ones. It saddened me to read about Doreen's passing. Attending Bulkely High with Doreen, there were many times we would have get together's as a group and share to many great memories. Once I left for the Army and returned after Viet-Nam, I lost contact with Doreen and as our lives moved forward, we all went in different directions, working, raising our family, etc. It's very difficult to see how much time has passed by us since High School and regrets of not being able to stay in contact. Our friendship will always be a cherished memory and there will be a day and time, when we all will be joined together in the Kingdom of Heaven. Respectfully, Butchie Lagano

I was so very sad to hear of the passing of one of my Bulkeley High classmates, Doreen. I remember bumping into her at Stop & Shop many years ago and hearing how 'in love' she was with Walter. I was so happy for her. She was always a lovely girl, with a beautiful twinkle in her eye. A better friend, you could not have with Doreen, I'm sure. ...which makes losing her so hard. Blessed are you who had her in your lives. I am so sorry and wish to give my prayers and sympathy to her mother, husband and family. Knowing what a good girl Doreen was on earth, I am sure she is being rewarded now, and in the loving arms of her Creator. May God comfort those who mourn her loss; may He touch your hearts in love and peace and give you confidence that she is at peace with Him. I am so very, very sorry.
