Dorothy Kask Obituary
On Saturday, October 22, 2016, Dorothy L. Kask, 79, entered into eternal life at Autumn Lake Healthcare. Born in New Britain on May 12, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Julius & Rose (Piorkowski) Kask. She was a longtime Newington resident, always devoted to her family, and had been a longtime member of the Church of the Holy Spirit. Prior to her retirement, she was employed with Lord & Taylor as a sales associate, and previously the former D&L store. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her brothers Edward, Francis, & Julius Kask. Left to honor and cherish her memory are her nieces, nephews and their families. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 29, at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church, New Britain. Rites of Committal will follow the Mass at Sacred Heart Cemetery, also in New Britain. Relatives and friends are welcome to gather for visitation on Saturday from 8:00 AM until 9:30 AM at Duksa Family Funeral Homes at Burritt Hill, 332 Burritt Street, New Britain.
