Dorothy Leverant Obituary

Dorothy Nemirow Leverant, age 84, passed away on Sunday, (March 31, 2002) surrounded by her loving family. She was a native of Hartford and had lived in Deerfield Beach, FL, before moving to San Antonio, TX a year and one half ago. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother whose primary concern was the well being of her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Bernard Leverant and brother, William Nemirow. She is survived by her son, Gerald Leverant and daughter-in-law, Michele of San Antonio, TX; daughter, Sandra Silverman of Baltimore, MD; grandchildren, Debra Tant of Marietta, GA, Gerilyn Pats of Clarksville, MD, Lori Leverant of Austin, TX, and David Zingeser of Damascus, MD; four great-grandchildren; and her sister, Annette Guttenplan of West Palm Beach, FL. Graveside Service TODAY, 11 a.m., Agudas Achim Memorial Gardens (Austin Hwy) Cantor David Silverstein officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions be made to Golden Manor Home for the Aged, 130 Spencer Lane, San Antonio, TX 78201.
