To the family of Ed Gentile,
I never met Ed, but feel I know him through our exchanged notes and phone calls during my years as an officer of Westbrook B.P.O.E. #1784. He was so proud to have been a charter member and he was thrilled that I was the first female exalted ruler!
Please accept my sympathy and know that he was a very special person.
Sandy Hirth, Past Exalted Ruler #1784

Mary, I'm so sorry to read about Ed's passing. I am on my way to Cape Cod for a planned vacation & will be unable to attend Ed's wake & funeral/ I am sorry for that. Ed was a great guy & wonderful boss. I am glad I was able to have lunch with him at Angelico's several months ago. My thoughts and prayers are with you. God bless.
