Edward MORGAN Obituary

MORGAN, Edward Willis, Jr. Edward Willis Morgan, Jr., 76, of Avon, husband of the late Joan Muriel Morgan, died peacefully Wednesday (April 14, 2010) in the comfort of his home. Born in Derby, the son of May Houlihan and Edward Morgan, Sr. Ed was a graduate of the University of Connecticut, served in the Army as a 1st Lieutenant of an Armored Division, and later became a Vice-President at the Aetna. He is survived by his sister, Dorothy Niles of Brewer, ME, her chidren, Arty of Frankfort, ME, Bruce of Holden, ME, and Cathy of Brewer, ME; daughters, Sarah Morgan of Cromwell, Martha Morgan of New York, NY; grandchildren, Christopher E. Morgan of East Hartford, Kamisha Morgan of Middletown; great-grand children, Santino and Ava Morgan of East Hartford, CT. There will be no calling hours. The Memorial Service will be May 2, 1 p.m., at Christ Church in Avon, CT. For directions, refer to www.christchurchavon.org. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Gifts of Love, PO Box 463, Old Avon Village, 35 Main St., Avon, CT 06001.

I fondly remember Ed and JOAN aboard our boat in Chatham and then going to Nantucket one day coming back then it was very rough. They were very calm and collected about the whole thing had many adventures and I miss some. I was just thinking about them the The other day. Miss them terribly.
