I knew Eddie (and Bobby) when we were all teenagers. Went to the beach and stayed with them in the Rhodes trailer. Played bass drum to Eddie's snare in Colonel John. In spite of our friendship, we lost track of each other after high school until a Colonel John reunion many years later, where I was reminded how much I liked and respected him. I'm very saddened by his death.

We are so sorry to hear about the loss of your Dad. Our love reaches out to you and all of your family. I knew your dad through the shop and always laughed at his humor and respected his thoughts. May his life memories help you through this sad time.

Roberta, my wife Diane and I have marched many a mile and shared many a great time with Ed over many years. As much as I know the Nathan Hale Ancient Fifes & Drums meant to Ed, over the next few days, members of our corps will be trying to show you and members of your family how much Ed has meant to us! Rejoice, Roberta. He is now beyond all his pain joyful forevermore.

I met Ed when I joined Nathan Hale. He became my "Corp Summer Dad" I really enjoyed all the time we had together laughing over stupid things I would do and talking about Sloppy Joes in Keys West. Or Dunkin before a parade and the local watering hole after. I will miss you Ed. RIP and forever in my heart. ?
