It is so strange and then again not so strange that I see this in my news feed today. This morning I woke up singing a song over and over in my head that Ellen use to sing in our band. It made me think Oh I need to pull out those old VCR tapes of us playing at Smokey's Junction and watch them again its been a while. We had some amazing times together and her cheery, positive upbeat attitude made working and living with her a pleasure. Sure feels like a lifetime ago, and she left this world way too soon. You are remembered Ellen and missed. xo Foxfire partner. Lori

Aunt Charlotte, Kenny & family, my deepest sympathy goes out to you. It is so hard to believe or understand. Please know that I will cherish my memories of Ellen & Robin. I'll never forget playing with Robin in the Capen Street neighborhood or up in her room. What fun we had. I'll never forget the times I had with Ellen and how caring she was of me. I miss you all so much and pray for you. All my love, Linda

So sorry to hear of Ellen's passing. She could always make me laugh, no matter what. I remember getting together after school, her playing guitar and singing, me listening and wishing I had even a bit of her talent. God Bless.

Ellen and I walked to John Fitch together more than 48 years ago, I had not seen her since graduation and then I talked to her at our 40th reunion. I could hardly believe that she lived at our old grade school. She was still the talented, fun loving person I remember. Although she was still mourning the loss of her sister, we laughed about our years together in school. It was a shock to learn my new found friend was gone. My hope is the thoughts of her beatiful voice will bring comfort to her family and friends.

Ellen, my dear friend, I am going to miss you so much. Such good times we have been having! It's like you went to a flower show in Florida and have not returned yet.
Remember when you experimented with scissors when we were in Kindergarten and you gave me my first haircut? Your Mom was so mad she cut your hair just like mine! We looked like a couple of nerds for awhile didn't we? All the special times we have shared with all our Capen Street Gang! You may be out of site but you will be in our hearts forever!!!! We love you!
Mrs. Jameson, Kenny and family, my heart goes out to you all. The loss of Robin and Ellen this year has got to be so unbearable; God must have needed a couple of more angels for the choir this year. It will sound better than ever!!!
God Bless you all...
Love, Joyce (Knickerbocker)Bazzano

Ellen and I played music together as the band Foxfire for several years in south Florida. She always told me they were some of her happiest years. I'm having a hard time believeing she is gone from us. She had a heart of Gold and always a smile on her face. The voice of an angel and a soul with faith. I will miss you El. I'm sorry we did not get to say goodbye and play a few more tunes together. Love always Lori

Aunt Charlotte, Kenny and family:
Words cannot express how deeply sorry and saddened we are for your loss of our special lady - Ellen. I have so many fond memories of her. Her wonderful talent of music. Her patients as a music teacher. She even tried to teach me guitar (that didnt work). Her sweet voice. Her compassion and just her joy of life. Always remember the wonderful times. As I will remember our visits every Sunday to Capen St as we were growing up, Coventry Lake, my 21st birthday, family reunions, weddings, and all our special times together. May God bless you and help you through each and every day.
Love Always
