Eric W. Schaefer

1952 - 2023

Eric W. Schaefer, 70, of Glastonbury Connecticut, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on February 13, 2023. Eric was born on October 4, 1952, to Richard and Marlene Schaefer in Amityville, New York. After graduating from Huntington High School in 1970, he went on to study Accounting at Nichols College. He eventually went on to found his own property management company. A deep lover of music, Eric enjoyed attending concerts and growing his amassed collection of records of his favorite bands. He enjoyed sailing and spending time on the water with his friends and family. He was passionate about collecting and riding motorcycles, particularly BMWs. Eric loved spending time with family and friends, always laughing and becoming the life of the party. Eric is survived by his two sons, Dustin and Dylan Schaefer, and their partners, Felicia Schaefer and Kara Lavertu, his mother, Marlene Schaefer, and his siblings, Kurt and Candace Schaefer. He is predeceased by his father, Richard Schaefer. A remembrance service will be held on Sunday, February 19, 2023 at 12:00 pm at the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury.
