Gordon MacGillivray Obituary
Gordon was a proud US Army veteran of the Vietnam War, "Our Nation is grateful for his sacrifices and service while in the United State Army and helping defend democracy and shape the world we live in today." After receiving his degree, Gordon lastly worked with the Department of Veteran Affairs, as a Peer Specialist at the VA Connecticut Healthcare System. He was held in "high esteem" among his professionals and peers. He will be missed by all, especially by his wife, Lourdes.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, March 18, 2023 from 11:30 AM until the time of service with US Army Honors at 1 PM in the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Burial will be private.

Gordon helped many of the Veterans with PTSD and such get back on track was the best councilor ar Newington VA that many of us ever had. Many Vets love and respect Gordon. God bless and may he Rest In Peace. Paul Roberts
