ErnieIda was always such a lovely person kind and warm. We always had nice conversations at all the past bridal and baby showers we attended.
I know she will be deeply missed.

Ernie, Jay and Jeff and all of your families,
Ida was such a special person, kind, warm and loving to all those she came in contact with. I remember her being a good friend to my Mom and Dad.
She will be greatly missed.

Jeff, Ernie, Jay & the entire extended Hoffman family our sincere condolences. Your Mom was one of the sweetest women I ever met. All I had to do was mention a pie and there it was! I'll miss her and that great little smile. Thinking of all...The Embury family

Just want to thank you, Ida, for: leading by example, for remembering birthdays and anniversaries, for apple pies and blueberry kuchen; for being a fellow fan of Yankees baseball and UConn basketball; for being an expert at sewing, baking, organizing and guiding us all through tag sales, apple festivals, coffee hours, and life. Your wisdom and memory will be cherished always.
How hard it will be to fill your shoes at Grace Church! It will take an entire congregation to try.
It is with heavy hearts that we bid you farewell, but we know that God is bidding you “welcome” into His loving Presence. May your family take comfort in that.
You will live in our hearts always. We'll so miss you.
