SIPPLES, Irene V. Irene V. Sipples, 76, of Manchester beloved wife of Thomas B. Sipples passed away suddenly Tuesday, (June 16, 2009) surrounded by her family at Hartford Hospital. Born in Middletown, she had lived In Manchester for many years. Irene belonged to the Mother's Club for many years and was also a longtime volunteer at St. James School. A loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, besides her husband she is survived by her children, Thomas B. Sipples and his wife Jacqueline of Rochester, NY, Marjorie J. Winalski and her husband Michael of East Granby, Jacqueline M. Sipples of Hartford, and Michael J. Sipples and his wife Rebecca L. of Middletown, her grandchildren Thomas, Julia, Kimberly, Joseph, John, Zachary, Valerie, Michael, and Benjamin, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 20, at 10:30 a.m. from the John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 West Center St., Manchester with a Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. at the Church of the Assumption, 27 Adams Street South, Manchester.
