Jim my brother Rest In Peace.Death is a gateway we all must pass thru.To reach that fair land where the soul’s born anew.A place where we’ll find no suffering or tears. This is the place God has prepared. With all of our loved ones who patiently wait on death’s other side to open the gate.I know Mom and dad and Richard and Vinny were there to open the gate! See you in heaven.

Sending our love and condolences to the entire Gabriel and Wesnak family. We were so saddened to hear about the loss of Jim. The sentiment written below on this guest book speaks volumes to the type of man he was, and to think this was written by someone he never met. May you find comfort in many wonderful memories. Love- Sarah, Jim, Chelsea and John Wadle

Last week I noticed my morning paper was a little late. This was very unusual because for many years my paper was NEVER late. Not in the winter when it snowed, not when it rained, not during the pandemic, never. My paper carrier was a man named James Gabriel. I never met him, because he came to my house at 4:00 am, but over the years he was someone I came to respect and count on . He always did his job; a job that was not high profile or glamorous, but as an early riser I appreciated his efforts. I was hoping he was on vacation but today I opened the paper and saw his name in the obituary. I finally learned what it took to stop James from doing his job. I feel like I lost a friend, which is odd because we never met.

I will forever love and miss you Jimmy. Yet one day we will see each other as we never have before - in glory! You were quiet and reserved a stronghold for any one of your friends or family members, we knew we could count on you to be there always. Your love showed through your quiet reserve and spoke, “It’s gonna be ok!”, even though you may have trembled yourself. I love you and will see you over on the other shore.
