John Kaczynski Obituary

John "Skip" J. Kaczynski, III, of New Britain, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 7, 2023. A lifelong resident of New Britain, he was the son of the late John J. Kaczynski Jr. and the late Carmela (Grasso) Kacynski. Skip graduated from local schools and was employed with Enjet Aero for many years. He had a love for teaching sports and coached Newington youth football & baseball over the years. He also had a passion for the game of golf and was a long-time member of the Stanley Golf Course Men's Club. A loving father, he leaves his three children, Matt, Bryan and Cheyenne Kaczynski. He also leaves his dear friend and mother of his children, Sandy Kaczynski and companion and close friend Magdelena Wolak, both of whom cared for him during his illness, his devoted cousin Debbie Grasso, his sister Holly Kaczynski and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, August 11th from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Duksa Family Funeral Homes at Newington Memorial, 20 Bonair Ave., Newington. Burial will be private.
