John Kelly Obituary

John A. Kelly, of Tolland, died peacefully Wednesday, (July 30, 2003) at the Evergreen Health Care Center, Stafford. He was the husband of Olga (Kovalevich) Kelly. Born in Boston, MA, he was a Navy Veteran of World War II and had lived in Rockville and Tolland for most of his life. He had worked for Kaman Aerospace for 36 years before his retirement. Mr. Kelly was also a real estate agent affiliated with Cantor and Goldfarb Realty. Besides his wife, he leaves his step-son, Jeff Labbe of Tolland; his brother and sisters-in-law, James and Kay Kelly of Florida, Jennie, Esther, Helen, Millie and Bernice and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 1, at 11 a.m. at the Ladd-Turkington & Carmon Funeral Home, 551 Talcottville Rd., (Rte. 83), Vernon. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: St. Matthew Church, P.O. Box 100, Tolland, CT 06084 or to: Tolland Fire and Ambulance, P.O. Box 827, Tolland, CT 06084.
