I knew John through the SWHS Football program where he was a coach in 1972 the first year of Varsity football at the high school. What a great man and motivator. I always enjoyed seeing him at various events throughout the years. Condolences to his family. Rest in Peace! Roy Cowles

Dear Peggy and family,
I am so sorry for your loss. John will be missed by all that knew him. I know well, my late wife Sylvia loved working for John as a guidance secretary. He added so much to South Windsor High School and the guidance department. I can´t remember how many parties you and John held at you home in Rockville. It was there I got to know you and John as well as all those that worked in the SW Guidance Department family. It was there I felt I became part of that family. I will never forget John´s sense of humor and his laugh as well. He was indeed a real gentleman.
